High on the Hog.
HOG & HOMINY
Local boys and perennial Beard nominees building one restaurant from the actual ashes of another needed a brand & art remediation to boot. We’ve got no problem putting lipstick on this pig… the fresh brand for the newly rebuilt Hog and Hominy.
Over the last decade chefs & partners Andrew Ticer and Michael Hudman have improvised their own Little Italy in this slice of Memphis. Their upscale first entry is across the street, but Hog and Hominy is the crowdpleaser.
The reimagining of Hog & Hominy stemmed from the industrial design of its new home. There is something rustic but unmistakably modern in the warehouse inspired design of the restaurant.
Art and type inspired by a hardworking, field-to-factory, Neapolitan aesthetic captures those elements and elevates the environment & experience to a level the food was always moving on.
